Roy Round
London-born Roy Round is considered a world-leading fashion and celebrity portrait photographer, photographing everyone from her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, to Ruldoph Nureyev to Joanna Lumley. He started his career as an aerial photographer in the RAF and then went on to work as an assistant for Peter Clark Studios. After leaving Peter Clark he joined a small studio and within a couple of years became an active fashion photographer, working on the Paris collections twice a year and travelling abroad on many fashion assignments. His photography encompasses a deep understanding of contemporary fashion, elegant beauty and quiet sensuality. Interested in and influenced by music, he is also a renowned theatrical photographer - especially in ballet.
