Gall was born in 1956 and grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated with a B.F.A. from Rhode Island School of Design in 1978. She went on to collect numerous awards including the Arts Hoyt DeGoyler Memorial Fund Award and the Moonhole Residency from the Eglehard among others. She has also published two books The Water's Edge and Subterranea, which further explores the sensuality of the world around us. Galls work touches our inner and outer senses and reminds us of the transience and tenuity of lifes seasons
